Who and where are we?
Pet Pac is situated at 235 Great South Rd, Takanini (just across the street from McDonalds). Coming from North on the Southern Motorway take the Takanini Turnoff and turn left.
You will be pleased you came the moment you step through the doors of Pet Pac 05. You may even start singing along to the wonderful sounds that resonate from the stereo playing all the good ole music. Birds will be flying free and chirping as loud as they can - some even saying Hello as you walk by or mimicking the sound of a ringing phone just to keep staff alert! You will see bunny rabbits, guinea pigs, kittens and puppies as well as goldfish. Say hi to Max and Reba, the resident german shepherds who are just so friendly and our gorgeous Bichon Jaffa. There is plenty of parking right outside the door however you can just order on-line and have the product delivered right to your door. Its that simple! The Crew
Rick Pickard, well known personality around the Counties Manukau region is the co-owner manager of Pet Pac 05 Ltd. Rick has always been terribly fond of and owns many pets. Formerly a school principal and Selector of NZ Cricket, Northern Districts Cricket and the Cook Islands, plus being involved in many other sporting arenas, he now finds a lot of extra pleasure in making sure that people and pets are happy and satisfied.
Rick and Josh run the family business with wife Donna along with Gary, Go to www.primepetproducts.com for more staff profiles. Pet Pac has grown into one of the biggest pet stores in the Counties Area and has customers all over Auckland and wholesales throughout NZ. We have a fabulous fish section called 'Fin City" with a large variety of fish. Both Josh and Gary have a wide knowledge of fish and Josh has certification in fish knowledge and welfare from Mahurangi Technical Institute.
About our Products
Pet Pac 05 Ltd imports an extremely nutritional and economical natural dog and cat food from Australia. Because we import it directly there is no middleman and we are able to keep the prices down as low as possible. You could expect to pay over a hundred dollars for our 20 kg bag of Boomer Natural for active and show dogs but we are able to keep the price down to well under that. The products are all natural, most containing no artificial flavours or colours and no preservatives. These products were developed by two qualified animal nutritionalists (father and son combination) and are certified by AFFCO. We also manufacture and sell two daily food supplements, one for horses and one for dogs. Horse Helper and Dog Helper are formulated right here at our shop & warehouse so once again cost is kept to a minimum and we are able to pass those savings on to you.
